Os protestos convocados para a Praça Syntagma pelo partido de esquerda radical Antarsya, a central sindical Adedy e outros grupos anti-austeridade pretendiam juntar a indignação dos eleitores do OXI que querem romper com a chantagem dos credores. Mas acabou por ficar na história como a primeira manifestação antiausteridade onde se queimou uma bandeira do Syriza. Veja aqui as imagens.
